  • Food as distraction
  • Pace and slowing down (eating fast --> doing everything fast)
  • What else did/does Sarah “binge” on?
  • Ending the eating experience as another version of loss, ending
  • Bingeing information, attention, sex, TV
  • Food playing out through self-care, planning, avoidance, trust, boundaries
  • If it is, it’s hopeful! We can tackle it in areas where there is less resistance.
  • Beliefs about self become the relationship with food
